the shots look great John. I'll bet the Canikon crowd were secretly laughing, but now that we see the shots you got, we are (not so secretly) laughing at them for carrying around all that heavy antiquated gear. Nice work.

You got some great shots especially considering that there were so many other photographers there. It's times like those that I wish I were tall!

I was actually enjoying the K-01 so much that I forgot that I had the Q in the bag. After lunch I took it out and snapped a bit but wasn't really feeling it - I think the 01 Prime (47mm EQ) wasn't the right focal length for the situation, and the constant lights weren't as powerful as strobes - they actually recommended ISO800 for the shoot. So I put it back rather quickly. Here are a couple of grabshots:

I think I could have gotten some good shots with it, but I would have had to work a bit harder for them, and it was at the end of a long day. I did get some nice street shots, which I'll post in the Q section later.

That last photo is fantastic. Sometimes its better to look for the shadows rather than the light.

I like the shadowy picture very much too :)
