My next camera???
I just cancelled a third pre-order for the EM5. I love my m43 gear, but I just can't pull the trigger on the EM5 at present.
And here's why.
My next camera -- the smaller and affordable Nikon D600 entry-level full frame: First leaked Nikon D600 images | Nikon Rumors
Don't know if this qualifies as a serious compact, but this has got my interest big time.

This is the first DSLR I'm really interested in since 2009.
Nikon D600 + Voigtlaender Color-Skopar 20/3.5 + Nikkor 50/1.8 + Nikkor 85/1.8 = very interesting combo.

Hi
A great move by Nikon.
I will still upgrade my CSC sometime soon, and add the D600 in a year or so, assuming it's cool.

I agree this looks great.
I am happy with the E-M5 as my compact/travel option (it is still pretty small with the 20/1.7), but I have been thinking about picking up a DSLR for when I am working out of a car, or don't mind carrying something bigger. Given the fact that APS-C wide angles are somewhat limited, and the lenses seem to end up being the same size as their FF brothers, it would seem like a lighter/smaller/cheaper FF body would be a good option.

Well, if you place a preorder at announcement, you just may get it in a year or so!

If they produce a pancake like the Canon 40mm f2.8 I may start drooling a bit. But I won't order it as I feel it's still too much money and weight for what it would offer me over my current gear.

Rumor is $1,500, though we'll see.

Fine with me. I'll need to save up for the 3 primes and possibly single zoom I would want for it.
