    Topaz - any good?

So, today I shall be taking delivery of PS CS5 (I've always done my editing in LR and maybe PSE/Gimp occasionally).

Elsewhere, I see you can get a discount on the Topaz suite of plug-ins through Scott Kelby's site.

So is the suite any good? What does the panel think?

I've got CDO. It's like OCD but with the letters in alphabetical order, like they should be.

I'm a Topaz user (and also have the Nik and OnOne Suites as well). Topaz' price point is the most competitive of the three. I don't use every app in the suite but the suite is good value still. Adjust is probably the most useful and B&W effects is also useful. Denoise works well also. Lens Effects and In Focus are also quite useful.

They have a 30 day trial and video tutorials so you can try before you buy.
    Thanked by chromatin64 and Michael.

I use Topaz B & W which I find useful. I don't use it a lot but it was very cheap!

Thanks for the comments. I'm holding fire and once I'm a bit more up to speed on on CS5, I'll try the free trials.
