I just read this again and I liked his style more. His sentiments and message I still really like.

The images were more inspiring to me than the sentiments.

I get what he's saying. Over the past several years I've often photographed a local park - Tilden Park. During that time I've tried other "styles" and subjects, but I've come to realize that it is my photographs of the wilds of Tilden Park where I've grown the most. It is partly a matter of practice (that's where I've spent the most time learning about the basics of photography), but primarily a love of the subject and keen interest in seeing what's there and in my own way. My longest bus ride yet and it's my best work. Still a long way to go, but I'm getting somewhere that feels right to me.
