Agree. If this site were a camera, the noise control would be excellent.

I've got CDO. It's like OCD but with the letters in alphabetical order, like they should be.

Due to a sticky error message and a Fuji branded battery that doesn't hold charge for very long, the F550EXR is being returned this evening. Aside from those faults, did I like it? Yes, but not enough to exchange it for another one. I still have my heart set on a replacement G10. And am currently looking at some used Leica. My husband swears by his V-Lux 20. I'm looking at the D-Lux 4 and 5 (if they are still there after payday)

Are us old 35mm users welcome then?

Susan, good luck on finding the right camera. There are a number of D-Lux shooters here, plus its alter ego by Panasonic in the LX line, so you'll be in good company...and of course quite a few Leica folks, too.

Lightmancer, are you talking film 35mm? Check out: http://www.seriouscompacts.com/f16/f...age-thread-62/ and http://www.seriouscompacts.com/f16/w...o-you-use-663/ - and you already know you're welcome everywhere.
    Thanked by Lightmancer.

Susan, the firmware update fixes all that. Do yourself a favour and update before you send it back.
Thanked by BBW and Susan Sande.

Thanks Sue, I'll give the 550 one more evening and download the firmware.
    Thanked by BBW.
