Thread: "Inbox full" message

I've had a three messages from the forum telling me I can't receive a PM someone is trying to send because my Inbox is full.

As it had 33 messages in at the time, this seemed a rather peculiar limit to have set - or is it the sum of Inbox + Sent messages? (which would have been around the 100 mark in my case)

Or is the forum software having a "moment" ... ?

Paul I'm not sure of the limit (hopefully Amin can enlighten us) but it seems that the stored messages (which includes those you send) has exceeded that limit. Might be a timely reminder to other members to 'tidy up' their stored messages.

I regularly dump anything thats not current or continuing relevant. That way its never an issue.

I kept having problems regarding the limits because I never realized there was a sent messages folder to empty. The limit is a combined 100 messages

Luke's spot on! 100 message limit and the Sent Items is usually the key offender.

Yup, and Lili - if you're reading...your mailbox is full, too. Tried to reply - and couldn't.

This is a good reminder for everyone to go clean out their inbox AND SENT mail box. You can only have 100 messages total between the 2.
