    A Menorcan Moth for grebeman

well, this wasn't taken by me, but it was taken with a "serious compact", and I have the photographer's permission to post, ... isn't this pretty?

Oh, a Crimson Speckled, one of the footman moths, only about 20mm long. I've never seen one and very rare in the UK averaging about 1 sighting a year, only two in Devon in the last 20 years. Just about top of my list to find in a moth trap. That's cheered me up somewhat as the motherboard of my old Windows 2000 machine seems to have suffered terminal failure this morning and whilst my Linux machine recognises my Epson R800 printer it resolutely refuses to print, the paper just goes straight through and the printer utility says it's out of paper, so my head is spinning at the moment. This maybe the time to upgrade that side of my set up.

So thanks for that Paul, now for a tea break!

    Beautiful!

And yes, good luck, grebeman, with your computer. So useful when they are behaving, they can drive one mad when they're not.

Serendipitous then Barrie ... Yes CUPS is as delicate a creature as the moth ...

Hmm, a few of those moths seem to be capable of flying 1500 miles which is a better performance than CUPS can achieve
