    Climbing Rose Bushes

I gave these to my wife in years past as small plants. I planted them by deck poles and here is what they have become as of last month. (Disclaimer for the rose experts: I know nothing about raising roses nor the proper ways to trim climbing roses.)
Both shots were taken with the NEX5, 18-55mm.

Thanked by pdh, christilou, BBW and 2 others.

    A wild Dog Rose

This is not your cultivated rose, this is a wild Dog Rose

Rosa mundi - a very old cultivar - this is just a small part of a long thick hedge ... when it starts to bloom ... I will take more snaps
