Looks like a great place for street portraiture. How do you decide when to do b/w? I would think with how colorful everything was, I would have done mostly color.

First off, some fine stuff. A bit of a departure for you - more straight portraiture (well, not exactly STRAIGHT portraiture!) than candid street work, but very well done. Second, did you actually SHOOT these on an Apple iPad or did you just process them on an ipad and the EXIF got messed up. Regardless, I like 'em a lot, but I'm curious... About the tools involved.

Hi Luke. Anything that was colourful was kept in colour, ie the union jack shots or multiple coloured punk hair etc. "straights" in "drab" were sfx'd in my normal style as were "LGBT's" in drab. Gotta say, had a great......but tiring.......day. People threw themselves at the camera........you just could almost not do covert.
Cheers
Pete.

Hi Ray. All bar a couple processed with Nik Snapseed on iPad. This messes up the exif data. Drives me loopy! I think I did a couple with Lightroom. I took hundreds of shots and now suffering post process fatigue. Shots were a mix of Grd3 and 5d mkii with 24-105. I am pretty pleased with them as I just don't do portrait normally.
Thanks
Pete

Andy, my apologies. I never made the connection to be honest. South of the Thames my radar goes wonky. Now that I am aware......next year eh?
