In PS it also a wand thing. The wand reacts to contrast, so the area bordering the sky has beacoup contrast and should be a snap to wand-in a border. I don't use LR so I can't comment on the tools, but PS and LR share much of the same tools and technology. Assuming you have a Lasso in LR, you can manually identify a region per the mouse, works better under magnification. In the old days of PS, the wand was very crude and I would go back and hand correct the borders. Good Luck and Good shooting,

Thanks Gary,I'll fool around with that.Heaven forbid that I actually take a tutorial and learn proper technique.I, also, refuse to ask directions if I'm lost.

At the farmers' market on Sunday
Photographing people is not my forte, but I still try to do it from time to time. Used the GRD because I find the X100 AF too slow (tried that at first, but haven't yet examined the couple I did take). Really, should just have taken the K-5 and 35mm lens, ah well.
