I used the Oly 40-150 here so I don't think it is really street, but I liked the streak in his hair.

This is another, very nice shot. I don't think focal length is a criterium for "Street". I think "Street" is the criterium for "Street". (But I'm not a mod so what do I know.)

Thanks Gary,Petach.
It has been said here that "street" must include some environment around the subject to qualify. My close up only has faces. But who's scoring here!

I define "street" like the Supreme Court defines pornography - I can't tell you exactly what it is, but I know it when I see it. This shot is dripping in and overwhelmingly "street" and damn fine at that. My other criteria is that if my first reaction is "I wish I'd taken that one", it must be street! Even if your definition of "environmental" is applied, it works - there's the main guy in front, but the other faces and heads, particularly the two faces right behind him, ARE the environment.
This is a great street shot - I wish I'd taken it!

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.

Very nice! And definitely "street" enough for me. Some of my best "street" photos was also using a telephoto. Using the tele is a safe way to not interfere with the subject. Sort of like the "prime directive" in Star Trek.
