    City Photowalk

Did a 2.5 hour photowalk with a Meetup group. Forget a hat so my balding pate ended up quite red'

The Perth Swan Belltower is 82.5 metres tall and contains twelve bells of St. Martin-in-the-Fields from the 14th Century and which were recast in the 16th Century by Queen Elizabeth I. Taken with my new-to-me 9-18mm on not new GH1.

St George's Cathedral - two shot pano with X100.

Street art - 9-18mm with the City of Perth municipal offices in background.

Kangaroos in the main street - yes it happens! GH1 again.

    Natural Christmas tree - a 'Wheel-of-fire' taken with X100.

Finally an old building - the Cloisters reflected in the facade of its new neighbour - X100 and SEP2.

Nice set. The X100 did a decent job managing the light through the window.

Nice POV on the bell tower - hope you didn't end up with a sore neck. You might think about cloning out the intruders at the top of the frame. I find them a bit distracting but that might just be me.

Thanks olli - the 9-14 is a great little lens and the belltower shot was taken 'normally' but it does pick up stray items from the sides - will clone them out. Will go back to the cathedral with my tripod and do a proper HDR.

Bill, you had the perfect day! Such an interesting mix of architecture and have to say that the kangaroos on Main St. made me laugh! My heart belongs inside St. George's Cathedral with its quiet beauty.

    Looking forward to more!

Love the Cathedral interior shot and for one moment I thought they were real kangaroos! A good day's shooting

Nice work, Bill. The GH1 + 9-18 is one of my favourite combinations

I'm a big wide angle fan, and you're using the new lens very nicely here! Those kangaroo statues are great!

Me, too. That lens was my favorite Mu43 lens ever.

So many sights all around if you just open you eyes.

    Nice selection.
