    Stars

I took these a week or so ago when there was supposed to be a lot of falling stars, but there were just a few I saw. I did not capture any that night.

Really nice. Did you have to align with north or just point and hope?

I have that Google Sky Map program on my Rezound phone. Turn on GPS and it tells you what you are looking at. I kind of know where Polaris is after a few shots.

The only bad thing about those shots is a 30 minute exposure actually takes an hour for it to process all the noise out. Dark frame subtraction.

Thanks for the info - can't see Polaris from down here . I'm sure there is a southern equivalent.
