Volcan Chimborazo
Volcano Chimborazo in Ecuador is a majestic sight. Too often it is shrouded in clouds. This day I was lucky enough to catch it emerging from the cloud cover.

Wow, that's beautiful. My first reaction after seeing your personal info and then the photo is that "that doesn't look ANYTHING like Catawba to me"!. But jeez, what a beautiful shot. My brother lives in Roanoke and he and I built a cabin on some land he has out past Paint Bank almost 40 years ago where we still go for family occasions sometimes - and he spends a LOT of time out there. So I've spent plenty of time in and (mostly) around Catawba. But no time at all in Ecuador - looks like I should check out Ecuador!

Amazing catch. Was this taken from a moving vehicle as well?

Thanks for the comments. To be honest, I can't remember. We drove completely around the mountain over a 2 day span. I did take a few from the car (I was not driving an the window was down). But most were not taken from the car. If I had to guess, I'd say it was not from the car.
