Thread: One colour: Red

Superb images posted here!! I just have to join in.

Here is an image taken in Brighton, Sussex with my old Canon s95. As you can see there is Red everywhere!!

Quite an enjoyable open air concert at Hollywood Bowl. For this piece they brought in the USC Marching Band for the big finale of the 1812 Overture - fireworks too! Taken with my former e-pl1 and 14-150mm lens, 80mm 1/125 1600 ISO, LR3 post processed

I just purchased the Ricoh GR III and spent the weekend with our scout troop. This is a shot of our scoutmaster in his favorite hat!

Kevin, that is such a surreal image - very cool, with those helmeted trumpeters, the seating area with about two people, and then the rest of the orchestra - and the whole scene bathed in red.

I forgot about the seating area - we didn't buy those tickets where you can order dinner and wine before the orchestra starts the concert. We were in the cheap seats but we brought our own wine BTW if anyone is in Hollywood, I highly recommend their summer concert series. I was very impressed by the acoustics and ambience - a fantastic memorable evening! There are different concerts - the week before was Earth Wind and Fire with the LA Philharmonic .. now that would be have fantastic
