I haven't been doing a lot of photography lately but this unexpected sunrise came along last weekend. The pre-dawn was looking poor and then some light cloud started to form...

The spot is Cathedral Rock, about 90 km south of Sydney.

Peter, this is absolutely sublime. I'm speechless.

I'll join with a mellower variations of the golden hour. Not as dramatic, but hopefully with relaxing atmosphere.
