2013 - Tell me what you want, what you really really want

Crap song .... really really is...... sorry about the beginning .... but persevere

This year I want one of these - I'm just a child at heart, even though I now collect my "winter fuel allowance" from Her Majesty

Been looking all year, (2012), maybe I'll be lucky in 2013 - I want to hit the "off road" tracks in the New Forest and nip into Winchester for lunch when we are back in the UK

What do you really really want in 2013, (of a frivolous nature of course!!!)
    Thanked by Luke and snkenai.

I want way too much. So I'm going to settle for updating my Macbook Pro with these

    1) Seagate Momentus XT Hybrid drive

    and

    2) 16GB of RAM (currently have 4)

It should be noted that I also want a Fuji X-Pro with all 3 lenses. That aint happening.
    Thanked by BillN.

Sweet ride... just make sure yours has a diesel powerplant, Bill.

What do I want in 2013? Tough call... I'm still busy absorbing my Christmas haul. But, small picture: a full Fuji XE-1 kit. Big picture: a lottery win big enough to retire to a middle-class lifestyle (doesn't have to be the top prize). Of course, neither will be happening...

EDIT: I'll take a Sony RX1 with all the accessories if I can't get the Fuji.

To the age old song of:

"Flash bang wallop, what a picture what a photograh!!!!!!!

I want a camera the size of the Panasonic GX1 with the following:
Build quality of Leica with manual shutter speed dial / EVF control (similar to Fuji X's)
Interchangeable lenses of prime focal lengths at 24/50/80mm equvalent with manual aperture ring and manual focus option
Full frame sensor with the IQ of Nikon D800E
OVF/EVF such as that in Fuji X100 but with interchangeable lines for lenses automatically.
Contrast & Phase detection fast & accurate AF
ISO range that is usable between - 50 - 6400
Leaf shutter for silent use ( up to 1/4000)
    No shutter lag
Fast write times with good buffer for up to 20 Raw images at 5 FPS
Built in flash for fill work / remote triggering
    Dust/moisture sealed all metal body
Battery life of around 500 Raw/JPEG images with review
Cost Less than £2000.00 with 1 lens

I know I am dreaming but also feel the day is not too far away before we are offerred something similar!

still sticking to my Landie dream!!!!

(camera wise I really want a new Nikon DX ..... waiting for a 25mp cam to replace the D7000 ........ will it ever happen ........ I need to get as many pixels as possible onto my mega crops of most of my bird images, (don't suggest I crawl through the undergrowth as some would on the Bird Forum) ....if not the D7000 is now being sold at a "give away" price ......... if a new DX is not announced in the next month I'm getting a D7000 at under £650 - bugger my 2013 budget ....... I've just gabbed a V1 and an FT-1, again the V1 is being "given away" by Nikon now that the V2 is on the shelves, so I have started the year with an adverse variance)

I want to be satisfied with what I have.

Failing that, my demands are a million dollars and a parachute.

Maybe I should add that you need to post a Utube song with each of your wishes ....... to make the thread interesting ....... as well to show your appreciation, (or lack of it), of music, if that's what it's called these days.
