If I understand the video the 'kamera' is more a marketing gimmick than anything else.

Yes. It also has panoramic feature but the chair has to have swivel functionality.

It's a marketing gimmick for sure, since they are giving it away for free with the purchase of a specific line of IKEA furniture.
