    Neue Film

Neue Film It's essentially using your digital camera like a film camera by limiting your ability to monitor settings/review shots and decreasing overall number of exposures. We've all discussed this relevant to taking the time to compose and set up our shots properly rather than using spray and pray method. It's interesting it was given a name though.

I like the concept, but if I want to limit myself to using manual focus, limiting my number of shots and using only one ISO setting, shouldn't I just use a film camera?

I do this. I never use auto anything except Aperture Priority and generally only take about 15-25 shots when I go out. I never understand the people who shoot hundreds of photos. I always wonder how they have time to look at them. They need to borrow my dogs for a few days, that will slow them down.
