I have a limited production beer, a 750ml bottle from a micro in Redlands, Hanger 24, (stopped with a cork champagne style), that I've been saving. I'll open that this weekend or maybe Thanksgiving in your honor and all the victims of Sandy.

If you ever make it to the left coast (the shining sea coast), I'll introduce you to some fine (as in world class fine) local wines. Pinot Noir country is a couple hours north, makes for a nice day trip, plenty of photo ops.

Sangria Sunday was good, a few friends came over, homemade BBQ pizza, grilled veggies from the garden, guacamole (fresh from the yard), homemade Sangria (oranges, lemons, limes, strawberries from the yard), coffee/espresso and cheese to wrap it all up. We hung in the backyard and had a discussion about Sandy and photography. I'll give you more warning next time.

Maybe a drink for those poor folks a your north, I've been reading that they are getting hammered by rain and wind.

If you posted it before, I've never seen it. I would have remembered because this balding man would love to have all that hair....LOL. I like these self-portraits so I can visualize the people I'm having these conversations with. Good to meet you bartjeej. And ripleysbaby, I think I may have seen that shot around here before, but it's a great shot...good to see you again.

Love this thread - great portraits, John, Bart and Ripley's... I've never seen that one of you, bartjeej...but I do definitely remember that one of you, Ripley's!

Just a side note to say that this pub also serves orange squash, cider, and other non alcoholic drinks.

Time to start thinking about making an apple pie or two....
