I would end up taking pictures of my computer screen a lot.

I would love to see you shoot multiple exposures of all the favourite bits of your house, in one picture.

OR you could try out the Brenizer method of re-creating an impossibly shallow depth of field by stitching together multiple images using a fixed focal length.
