Thread: PENTAX K-30 color choice ( a POLL)

I've never owned a camera other than black or silver and black, but I must say that the 2 additional color choices in North America for the Pentax are both equally lovely. So assume for a moment that you were buying the camera....which would you choose.......

so what'll it be...... black, blue or white?

I always go with the black, thinking that it is more stealthy, but someone here or mu-43 made the point that a colorful camera actually looks more unassuming (i.e., more casual/consumer, less pro). Hmmmm.... okay, I'm voting for stormtrooper white/black!

Kyle, when I see black DSLR, I figure it's either a nosy photographer or a soccer mom.......50/50. Colored camera = n00b.....definitely less pro....which explains my leanings.....LOL.

I quite like the white but for a reselling point of view I think it would be harder to sell. I use to have a silver canon 300d - I loved that camera!

Wait, outside of cosmetics, wouldn't there be some advantage for a white camera, keeping the camera temperature down in the summer...

Black for me even though I love that blue, just because I'm really conservative

Blue and black make a great color combination - and not just for bruises. Seriously, I love the blue and black combination, though I voted for all black. I like to be unobtrusive. Now silver and black would really be the ticket for me.
