That's how I've been buying my gear for years. I got a NEX 3 for $125. For Sony equipment, you don't even need to wait very long since they update their models so often. One year, they updated the Z laptop 3 times. Each time they did, the old model went on clearance at half price. I can wait 4 months to save 50%. That's why I'm so hesitant to buy the RX100 right now. I pretty sure that in less than a year, I should be able to pick it up for half the price it's selling for now.

Down to $249 new. When it hits $200, I'm in. I do find it funny that Amazon will sell you a used one for $449.

Wow, $249!

Now it's getting ridiculous. That's cheaper than the grip was for my E-M5..... the freaking grip.

Now Amazon has reduced the price of "like new" used to $236. Not much of an incentive. For $13 more, why not go with new?

a couple people will buy these and next week they will be back on Amazon as used - very good for $214....LOL.
