These two were taken in Costa Rica last year and processed recently in Photoshop using NIK filters.

I like that second photo Dan! Those dark clouds look so threatening and yet mesmerizing.

Roark, very cool use of selective color. I've always wanted to try that. But have yet to do it ...

First proper out and about with the X100 just around where I stay (Shore, Leith) had to fuse multiple exposures due to the very bright sun!
Nothing interesting but I am very impressed with the IQ of the camera, bests my previous EP2!

Love, love, love that one the moment I saw it on Flickr, Christian. Great color and the way you've pp'd it and framed it worked out beautifully.

OK - it's street photography and just a snap but when the Olympic Flame passed through the town this morning I found my old cynical self rather swept up in the occasion.
With a friend's grandchildren running behind even the rain didn't spoil the good humour going around and the streets were packed (although we found a quiet bit here).

I'm so glad your "old cynical self" got swept aside, Dennis! That's pretty darn cool to have seen the Olympic flame so close and in such an uncrowded moment. The bearer looks very happy!

Here's a drive-by. I was stuck at a traffic light by the Art Museum.
