I love color, and most of the photography I have done in my life time has been on color slides, which are now languishing in files neglected and forlorn. However, there is something compelling about B&W. I don't know what that is, but there is no doubt about it, B&W is special in its own way.

Dan, did you make it all the way up yet?
It's fun being along with you on your train trip. I've always wished our country had a better train system...because I like the idea of riding the rails, with my camera across the big country.
