    Ian, I think the lighting worked in your favor - no harsh shadows to deal with. Great set of images!

    Hi Chuck,

    You are right, much prefer even lighting as we had rather than harsh contrasty light with shadows.

    Thank you all for the feedback.

    I am finding I am turning to the X100 to shoot images I previously used the D700 for, it is a superb camera and these images once served to remind me how versatile this camera is and since the latest firmware update (1.21) I no longer worry about the AF performing as I want it to.

    The more I use this camera the more inclined I am to let the D700 kit go and opt for the XPro-1 but still waiting for price to come down (I did see body only for £1229.00 in UK recently so things are starting to move).
