    Thank you, Jock. I don't often take great photos, but this one is a favorite.

    A tip for Foveon RAW shooters: If the subject is better lit than the background/foreground elements, using a negative value on SPP Fill Light exaggerates the lighting on the subject and darkens the other elements for a stronger photo. It's great for portraits because it also softens the image. The trick is to be subtle with the effect. I typically set the limit at -0.3, but some images call for a greater negative value.

    I'll be waiting for the price to go waaaaay down so in the meantime, I'll have to continue enjoyment of my regular old DP2.....
