I'd love to see them Jenna, but they don't seem to be there... Do you have a flickr page where you could share from?

Thanks for sharing these great series with us.
Why did you buy the xs1 instead of any other bridgecamera?

I have previously owned a fuji bridge camera and liked the image quality and couloirs the fuji produces. Over the past two years have wanted to simplify what I carry with me when I go out on a photography outing. In looking at bridge cameras my final choice came down to the xs1 or the Nikon P510. Sadly Nikon did not provide provision for using filters so that was a big no for the Nikon. I was almost put off by the tales of the orbs produced by the sensor, but having looked at a number of images produced by the camera, decided to take a chance on it. So far I have been very pleased with the results.
Thanked by Tilman Paulin, Herman and kyteflyer.

    Thanks for your reply.
Has Fuji solved the orbs issue, or is it still an issue?

My understanding is that the new sensor has resolved the issue. I have not noted issues with the images I have taken, but have only ad the camera for 3 weeks.

according to DPReview's tests, the new sensor has no orbs and retains all of the great image quality. nice shots!

Nice shots. Did Fuji replace the XS-1 sensors as well or did they just come with the new ones?

I believe they have offered to replace the sensors in the xs1's as well. Not sure if mine has the new sensor, however not experienced any issues as yet. One image has some fairly harsh highlights, but nothing to be overly bothered by.
