    I'm in the club !

My used M mount turned up the other day, and this morning My new 40mm Voigtlander showed up in superfast time from Hong Kong.
So i rushed out to use it on Buster and some trees. What fun ! a real lens again. I'm going to enjoy it !

If I were a GXR user, I'd be shooting with lenses like this. The feel of a real manual focus lens just can't be beat.

That is beautiful, I didn't realise what a great lens the 40mm is. Which camera are you using, and what is the equivalent field of view?

PS. I like Buster also, he's got such an unusual look about him.

I went for the 40 (for my GXR) because it is a big big saving over the 35. Crop factor makes it about 60mm I believe .
It's the first manual focus lens since the seventies , and it feels great ! I've enjoyed today so much, if I could afford a wide angle and a short tele I'd give away all my af lenses. But not my nikon 1. 18.5. Because that's great too.

Thanks. But credit where credit is due. The processing is a free preset from preset pond , called Driftwood.
I was surprised how many subjects it suits.
