Thread: 2 from my XZ-1; breaking out of the Box

Of late I have been quiet; dealing with a lot of health and job stress.
So my output here has been limited pretty much to Cats and Sunsets.
Here are two that break me out of the doldrums

wow, the texture in the first one is rendered particularly beautifully! It really feels like I could reach out and let my fingers feel the petals... I'm not usually a big fan of flower shots but this has a sort of sensual quality to it

Stunning!!! The red rose is just gorgeous. Red flowers are so difficult to get right, you've done it beautifully :)

That Rose is stunning. The XZ-1 does a great job, but the photographer obviously knows how to use the tool.

I hope your health issues and job stress are easing up for you. Neither is any fun.

I was told recently that compacts don't do red very well......Those images make that statement nul and void, They're great!

Looking at the red rose, I want to grab and smell it, so real 3D!
