Thread: Tiny Planets

Thanks to Kerri, I've discovered a new plaything for the iphone. They don't really seem to belong anywhere else, but they do fill criteria for being photographs, and in colour :)

I have seen this effect before and I was somewhat curious how they were created.

Every time I see these I love them. I demand a tutorial or links. i'd like to do one with a camera

I think there is some software for computers to do this but I have no idea what it's called, I love this app, just so simple! here is my first one :-)

Thanks, Luke. I'm trying to decide whether I want to try this in Photoshop or just attempt to optimize the iPhone app. I'll probably lose interest quickly and move on to the next special effect...
