I have about 8 to go, but I'm really struggling for ideas on some of them. I knew I shouldn't have left the harder ones til last!

I have 6 or 7 left, and they're pretty tough. I managed to shoot a bit yesterday, I hope the pics will still look good on a big screen. Will probably post a couple later today.

Five to go and their not the easy ones. On reflection I should have tackled them earlier as I will be away from the computer for 5 days. Find myself reaching for the GRD III more often than not.

Is it permissible to change photographs over? I want to use one I already posted, for a different topic.

The only rule is that there are no rules. Go ahead and change one, Sue.

I am finding that I have to get outside my instinct for subject matter. It is not the carefree photography that I love. In other words, it is a chore. I am not complaining. It is stretching my "photography muscles". To actually make an effort to go out and find the prompt. It is I think a very good thing, we are trying. It will make us better photographers on several levels. Not everything I have posted, am I happy with. But to complete another one is satisfying. To be one step closer to completing and not just quiting. Yes I have been tempted, the last few days. Not yet!
    Thanked by Julien.

Well, I have failed miserably. I started out with the best of intentions, and in fact I have done quite a bit of photography in May, as my Flickr stream attests - but I found it really hard to shoot to a list. I tried a couple of tricks - going out with the intention of shooting for a single line item seems to have been most successful. I also put the list on a spreadsheet, thence on to Dropbox so that I had it with me at all times, but that wasn't the problem. The problem for me was fitting in amongst "normal everyday life" such a diverse and wide range of subjects. I even tried grouping the ones that were similar, but it really didn't help. I think that I have to be "in the mood" (or if you prefer, "in the zone") to shoot and the sheer diversity of themes defeated me.
    Regards,

    Bill
