Thread: Nikon 1 battery life

I am not getting a good battery life from my Nikon 1, with genuine Nikon battery - I would say far less than one hundred shots, usually lasts less than half a day - I have 2 genuine Nikon batteries, so presumably it is not a bad battery ..... firmware update???

I could maybe understand it when I am using the Nikon DSLR lens, but not when using the Nikon 1 lenses
anyone else have problems?

I only have the 10/30 kit lens and have found the battery life outstanding . Until I shoot a video. That kind of sucks it dry ! But primarily still shooter so I'm happy

Just used a J2 with 30-110 at a concert. Shot multiple frames/ continious and got a surprising 1600 images from one battery! Guess filling up the buffer doesn't drain the battery!
