A laugh and a smile and a joking "I'll be right back!"

OK, John, I gotta ask. What bike do you have?

When I saw the shots of the R1100RT (guessing on the specifics) I thought you'd say your mount was something like a new Concourse or an FJR1300. But the RSV-R... good lordy. That's a bike I'd like to borrow for about 2 hours.

(says the owner of a 2007 FZ6, bought new, now with 49,750 miles on it)
    Thanked by Herman.

I see now it's a 1200RT. I was close. And the story is great.

Thanx. I'm in the enviable position of being able to own a bike that makes absolutely no sense! I've done nearly 10,000 miles this summer, with 98% of those miles on press bikes.

p.s. - re, FZ6 - love the middleweight standards! Easily the most smiles per buck.
    Thanked by Herman.

These are amazing shots John, making me seriously consider Nikon 1 system. If only Nikon will add some fast zoom and few common primes!
Thanked by john m flores and Herman.

John bought my V1 and I'm pleased to see it put to such good use. It is a good camera, but John is clearly a very good photographer. He knows what makes a great picture.

I am terrified of motorcycles, but find their industrial design a thing of beauty.
Thanked by john m flores and Herman.
