Thread: Open Letter to Nikon - Nikon1 V2 is missing the Interval Shooting Mode.

Dear Product Service,

I am writing to express my sincere displeasure in finding out that the V2 is missing the Interval Shooting Mode. In my first experience with using the V2 I was impresed with all the improvements such as the quick setting buttons and the higher resolution. However taking great features available in the V1 away in the V2 makes no sense.

As such, I request that Nikon adds a firmware release with the Interval Shooting Mode feature to be added to the V2. Moreover, I would suggest Nikon take any steps they feel reasonably necessary to restore confidence I had in the quality of its Nikon 1 product line and to establish the satisfaction that a loyal customer deserves.

and add an addendum that a successive model should NEVER strip away a function that an earlier model had and send copies to all camera makers.

Like Canon's removal of the swivel screen on the G15.

I need an intervalometer for cameras that I rig to motorcycles. I guess that I won't be getting the V2...
