I live in the eastern suburbs of Minneapolis/St. Paul, only about 15 minutes from the St. Croix river and Wisconsin border.

There are a lot of great parks in the state, especially up north along Lake Superior, where there are parks every 15-30 miles. You see a lot of dogs, but I believe they need to be on leashes. The wolf population is getting pretty large in the north, so maybe that is a good thing.
