I had yet another trip to the Emergency Vet this AM. I got the same vet as two weeks ago. He just about feel over laughing. Ruby gouged a hole between two of her toes on her left front foot on stick or root or something this AM wrestling with Hugo in the water at Red Bud Island Dog Park in Austin. The hair on her other leg where we had the IV drip from the rattlesnake bite hasn't even grown back yet...... We got a 3 stitches. As you can see later in the day when the local wore off, we were back to normal...... From Sunday PM.

Oh Stanley, I hope I never have your luck. Of course, while my dogs are sleeping on my lap, there is NO chance of any injury. Back when I would take them to a dog park, there were some problems.....not as major as yours, but sedentary lives are definitely cheaper ones.

Wednesday night

Here's Little B taking a nap on a Friday evening. He also had a bit of a run-in with another dog the other day. He was bowled over again and again by a Lurcher dog in the woods. The dog chased him every which way which left him screaming with fright. The owner had no control over the dog and had disappeared by the time I got to Little B. When I picked him up (he was covered in mud) his paw was bleeding. Another trip to the vet as his claw is ripped. Now poor Little B has to be kept quiet and he's limping :(
