Balzac
Hi all.
When our dog Bella was ill our vet tried a blood transfusion among other things to help her. This is the donor dog. His name is Balzac and he's a Caucasian Shepherd. Right now he's about one and a half years old and weighs about 80 kilos. Sadly, even Balzac's blood could not help Bella but before we left Tbilisi we went to visit the family to thank them and bring some gifts for Balzac.
He's a beautiful dog - paws the size of my hands and when he jumped up to greet me he was looking me straight in the eye. The family even offered us one of his soon to be born pups - the first litter he has fathered - and I was sorely tempted. Maybe some day.

Steve, that black and brown one always reminds me of our Lucy, not like twins or anything, but the smile and the markings....quite similar.

If it's the one grabbing the ball, you are welcome to borrow her. She's a hand full and then some.

Balzac is an exceptionally handsome dog and perhaps when the time comes you'll reconsider the offer of one of his pups. His family is very good hearted to have offered the gift of blood for Bella. I have been thinking about you and yours, Olli. It's good to hear from you.
