Thread: Dogs

Wednesday evening and looking for trouble. We were off today and I served food for the homeless. The Mayor showed up 10 minutes before the whole thing was over, butted himself a place in the serving line and made sure the cameras were on him. Everyone else just had a name tag that said volunteer. His said "Mayor Tom." Go figure..... Anyway, I took the dogs hiking afterwards and they almost got me locked in the park again when they saw two deer on the way out. I just made it back to the car when the park ranger was making sure no one was still there. He remembered me from last time and kind of smiled............

See, we found this really gross mud puddle back there and well, you know Hugo wanted to check it out because well, he just wanted too. Then one thing led to another and we lost track of the time. Well...you know how it is...."

That pond was horrible. It was basically a swamp. It has a small spring feeding it but it's pretty much all algae and mud with a lovely bouquet. There was a huge snapping turtle and several large stripped bass in it though.

Not many people to give him attention, he's found a friend.
