Taz has such intelligent eyes and a mellow/calm demeanor. Such a good image of Taz that I didn't look at the photo. Nice exposure, some detail in the blacks and some detail in the highlights. Good timing on the shutter release, caught him with a good expression. I'd take a little off the top, just so Taz fills the frame just a bit more.
Buster's film debut makes me want to see more - what was he listening for and does he dive into the brush? To be continued?
Taz is quite the debonair fellow and I'm so glad to read he's feeling better. He's quite a looker in that red coat - love those distinguished grey flecks, as well.
P.S. Luke, I meant to mention right off that I really like your "night walkies" image very much. I feel as though it's a still from a movie.

Reason: P.S.
The little guy made his first hiking trip with us today. Tomorrow a good friend of mine who fosters rescue dogs is driving down from Dallas to meet him. I'm pretty sad right now. I have three dogs and two cats (unless I find a home for the kitten we found recently) so it's for the best. He had a great time but couldn't keep up with Stanley who he just adores. I rarely even see Stanley when we go hiking (which is why I always have more pictures of Ruby and Hugo). The little got a distressed a couple of times when he lost sight of him. Stanley to his credit checked in on us more than he usually does. Stanley is one great dog. He's been my constant friend for almost 12 years. It's very important to me that the last few years of his life are the best any dog could possibly have. Not to be too confessional but I've had some rough times with my family and professionally over the last 5 years and Stanley has never let me down. I love that dog.
Anyway, here's the little guy. He's a character. After the hike we retired to Miller's BBQ. I got 2 lb's of pork ribs to go. Let's just say everyone ate well is now napping.
Tonight...I think I can squeeze in sideways.......
Beautiful shot. I love how they look wiped out, and so comfortable with each other. Isn't it great how they always grab the best place to sleep. And the new guy fits right in!
this one is on the opposite end of the spectrum of most of the beautiful detailed shots of man's best friend we see. I was walking Lucy tonight and playing with my camera and seeing what kind of blurry action shots I could capture against the fresh snow. night walkies with fresh snow by Lukinosity, on Flickr
Forgive me, for i have sinned ! This is not from a serious compact. Its from my old 7D.
The reason i'm posting this image is 1/ Because i like it
2/ Because I'm sure the focusing on my new V1 is better ! here buster by sucofni, on Flickr
I'm looking forward to getting more lenses for this lovely little V1
