Drove by this old, country store yesterday in Western Wisconsin. Nothing around but corn and soybean fields for miles... maybe they didn't call these convenience stores back in the day?

this one is pretty random.... I came in to work today to put records away and I loved the ambient light streaming through the store windows before I turned the lights on.

Luke, this is an example of why a record album is a thing of beauty. It is a good thing I don't live in your neck of the woods because I would be in your store spending tons of time and money! (I wasn't able to access this on Flickr, just so you know.)

These are replica pewter plates set up in the great hall on the top table and look like serving bowls for Henry VII & his entourage. Pass me the stuffed swan and quail tongues.

I really should become a vegetarian.
Thanks for the info on the pewter...I've got images of Henry swilling his drink, eyeing the next wife and Sir Thomas More is there, too, though he may have stepped outside.
