Thread: Signs of Fall.

I recently discovered I really love shots of early snowfall when there's still an autumn atmosphere - looks so different that full-on winter shots! I think it's more mysterious or ruggedly romantic looking than the picture-perfect frailty of snow or ice-covered everything.

Thank you Julien, I originally prefered the second one, and posted the first because it had more of the "fall" feeling but then remembered that both were taken very short from the same place so added it as an afterthought.

Yeah well said, although when these colors would have gone away then I'll post some white stuff ;) but I'll try and make some of them with a more romantic feel :)

Wow Fall isn't so advanced by your place, I'm currently higher up in altitude and there are no greens apart from the pines.

Most trees are burnished by now but some are hanging in there :)

Just a few leaves hanging on, but I love the late autumn light...
