Cool My first time taking the x100 to the streets.

I had a love hate thing going with the camera today, but today was the first time using the camera for street. CC more than welcome and tips on using the af system are more than welcome.

I like your shots a lot, they all have some perspective in them, spaciousness in some.
    Thanked by KVG.

Very cool photos :-) The X100 does give you a love hate relationship but when you look at the good photos, it's LOVE! hehehehe
    Thanked by KVG.

Is the 35mm equivalent wider than you are accustomed? You seem pretty far removed from your subject. I like the compositions, but I feel like you could get in on your subjects more. I'm no expert, but that's my initial response.

The PP is quite interesting. It appears that the tone curves would be compressed in the middle i.e. don't extend to either true black or pure white.

+1 on this. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you do you will either REALLY love it or REALLY hate it. There aren't a lot of ambivalent feelings about Fuji cameras....

    Great photos BTW!!!

Nice set of images here and most have a nice 3D feel to them.

I love my X100 but use it mainly for landscape work where it excels but I have tried it for street and found it very much like my older Leica M film cameras due to size and ease of use - I have not had any problems with AF since the last firmware update.
