Quick test shots from the new Fuji 18-55mm f2.4 OIS lens on XP1

Had a few mins to test my new Fuji 18-55mm f2.8-4 OIS lens and it's fantastic!! Ultra sharp and beautifully built. Here are a few quick test shots.....

    Thanks!

The AF speed is pretty quick but hard to tell if it's quicker than my 35mm. The AF speed seems to quicken the more light there is so on bright days it should be fast.
    Thanked by Armanius.

This is the lens that I would be most interested in on the X-E1. Everything I've seen so far points to it being very good indeed.

I hope it's quicker than the 35/1.4! I've been itching to get it for the XE1. My XE1 was an import that came with the 35/1.4. Not too impressed with the "improvements" in AF (while using the 35/1.4 and 60/2.4) over the older firmware versions of XPro1. But hoping that with the 18-55, the speed will be noticeably better.

Was the piggy photo shot at 55mm? Nice smooth background blur!
