If your suffering is too great you can ship to me in the US and I'll relieve you......
Seriously though, do you see any problems with this on the X Pro. I'm getting the 14mm first but I am now more than a little interested in this zoom + the upcoming super wide.
Still looking forward to your X Pro manual. THANKS!!!!!!!

I don't. It should perform just as well. But since the zoom doesn't work with the X-Pro1 as of today (I hope to get a new XP1 firmware next week), let's wait and see. The lens is expected to ship in about 6 weeks. That's plenty of time to optimize things on the firmware end.

So have you got a pre production lens then?

Of course. Nothing is final here, but it's still pretty great IMHO.

WoW!! Can't wait to see the final version. So what link do you have with Fuji? I look after the Fuji section at Park Cameras and I have a cabinet dedicated just for the X range.

No link, I just write the camera books you are hopefully buying.

How are you finding the IS on the 18-55mm, any good?

So far, I love the OIS, because it's really good, even though it isn't entirely finished, yet.
I was brave and took the X-E1 kit instead of my X10 out on horseback, snapping away with just one hand using the LCD display...

While the camera appears to usable for this situation, I prefer my X10 for the task. In any case, it was no problem having the camera kit hanging around my neck while galloping, so that was less of a problem than I expected.
These are OOC JPEGs (factory settings) with some Aperture post processing.
Everything is pre-production with several known issues, so don't bother to pixel-peep. :)
