Both are lovely, but I think the color / skin tones in the first are far better than in the second, so I prefer it...

    So good.
I find the first one very compelling. The wonderful detail in the dog's fur is great. The angle of his / her head is so expressive.

They're both beautiful.....in or out of focus. I prefer the first one for the detail on little "B" and the warm tones.

    Both are beautiful!

If I had to pick, I would say that I prefer the colors in the first and the focus point in the second.

Absolutely adore the first, but I think te colours of the first could have been applied to the second... the blue didn't appeal so much. The capture itself... wonderful.

Both are beautiful. The first one is my favorite. Hugo, Stanley and Ruby voted for #1 too.

Thanks everyone, I was really trying to express the blue feeling in the second as we're having one of "those" days. Little Ro has been very down today and I wanted to colour her portrait blue to match her mood. The more healthy colour is definitely the better option! Little B is watching a cat outside very intently, pretty soon he could contain himself no longer and descended into barking and whimpering, turning around in circles in his agitation!
Thanked by Amin Sabet, kyteflyer and Luke.

I like #2, the tone and expression conveys the mood very well.
    Thanked by christilou.
