Nice composition here BB. I also like the silhouette, but there's still not that much detail on the structure - as per your SiJ thread response. But the cloud blows me away!

Beat me to it, Mark. I too would have liked to see more detail in the shadows, but the clouds are to die for!

What a sky - pity the building is so dark but it gives a feel of foreboding.

I really like the high contrast treatment. Great sky you've caught there, and the little pickings of detail (like the clockface, and doorway) balance it beautifully.

It's so interesting to me to read that you all wanted more building detail because I didn't and purposely kept it dark only bringing out the light reflected in the doorway and the clock's face. I guess this is what makes the world go around, eh? It would have been easy for me to bring out or expose for the buidling's details but for my eyes it was the depth of contrast between the light and shadow - especially the extreme contrast - and, of course, the clouds... As a matter of fact I woke up this morning and thought about how I thought maybe it didn't pop enough. True! Oops - I see that you, Kal, saw it more through my point of view. That's a relief. Nevertheless, many thanks to everyone for your reactions.

I love the clouds, but would have also liked to have seen a little more texture detail in the building on the left side of the picture. The area around the archway I like because it emphasises the archway, but the blackened building to the left could have afforded a little more detail without distracting the viewer from the archway, I think.
