Fuji will announce two new lenses tomorrow... - mirrorlessrumors Could be interesting. I was disappointed in the XF 18-135 - did not like the IQ from it at all. I could see this lens in its field of view being very useful. I hope that Fuji got this one right and I could see the 18-55 going bye-bye for this lens and used as a one came/one body walk around lens.
I just realized that this thread didn't exist so I decided to create one. I'll start off with this image. Fujifilm X-T1 + 23mm F1.4 at F1.4, straight from camera. +2 Highlights/Shadows, Classic Chrome, ISO 800. I was playing around with these two lenses and I am not a fanboy for any company so I would be completely happy having these two systems! 15mm is a gorgeous lens by William Solis, on Flickr
https://www.dpreview.com/news/0569067557/ricoh-gr-iii-gr-iix-hdr-highlight-diffusion-filter Interesting development which I wouldn't have expected. An additional couple of GR cameras with the ND filter swapped out for a filter which creates something similar to a black mist/promist look in highlights. Not something I would be interested in, but I know that diffused highlights look is pretty trendy. Could this have been done as a firmware update, however? There is mention of AF focus zones being added to firmware, which could potentially speed up AF by limiting the focus range to a set area, if I'm understanding it correctly. *Actually, the zone AF just means that you can move the 9-point center AF grid around to position it where you want in the frame.
