Open Challenges!

I have just bought a Zeiss Biogon ZM 28mm f2.8 to go with my non existent M9 I keep telling my wife that the only way that I can recover the "investment" that I have in the Leica M fitting, (and screw), lens is to buy an M9, (or M8), but she does not seem to understand my logic That's the trouble with wives, (women), they are not logical!!! Oh well -
The Single in April 2024 (AiS 24) challenge is approaching! What it's all about: One camera! One lens! One month! One image per day! The key rules and considerations: Take at least one image per day during one month - and post (only!) one image to each day's thread. It's desirable to post the image on the very day it was taken to get into the groove and keep up the flow. Specify the gear you're going to use for the whole challenge beforehand - and stick with it. You may even try to shoot your chosen setup exclusively for the whole month - however, you should only try this if you're sure you can make it. Personal restrictions and additional demands you set up for yourself may help boost your creativity. A word to the wise, though: If you put too much pressure on yourself, it'll probably hurt rather than help. Interact with other participants, talk about the images you take and see as well as your own experiences related (or unrelated) to the challenge - in short, let's talk, have fun together and support each other. There will be daily treads, an outtakes thread every eight days and a discussion thread for exchange and support. For those concerned: We're carrying on with the "Today" challenge as well, as per usual. We're keeping up our seven-month cycle for the "Single in" challenges. For more on that, see this post. The next "Single in" will be in November 2024. This game rotates through the alphabet. It has NO RULES. You can post whatever you like: nouns, adjectives, brand names, anything, as long as it starts with the right letter of the alphabet. Each turn consists of one photo and, above it, a caption that starts with the letter that comes next. After Z, the series starts over with A. If a player skips letters or repeats letters already posted, a gentle reminder is appropriate. Alternatively, with skipping, other players can supply posts out of order to fill the gaps, while explaining what they did. Skipping a sequence of several letters is easy to do when you're at the bottom of a page. After you post a caption and photo, please wait for at least one post by someone else before you post again. No consecutive posts by the same person. It was a popular game in Potn Starting with A Airplane
