Lily stamen. Yes, I had to look up the parts of a lily flower to make sure that's what they were called. :tongue: And actually the part I focused on is called the anther, which is covered with pollen. I find flowers quite fascinating and beautiful to look at up close.
Oh, and this was taken with a Ricoh GRD IV.

Fantastic shots TraamisVOS! I haven't seen any shots like these before. I love taking macro's of spiders. I had to get over my arachnophobia pretty quickly

While on a walk with my 3yr old daughter, I was taking pics of this ladybug when I saw an aphid (not sure exactly what it is) walking close by. The lady bug saw it and then went and grabbed it! My focus was off a bit but still I am really happy I was able to get this shot as two seconds later the ladybug let it go.
